The course aims to review and expand students’ knowledge of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation and to improve students’ four language skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing. This course is designed to provide opportunities for students to listen to and discuss various topics for communication in business contexts and read and write a variety of genres for professional business communication, for example, business letters, email messages, memos, and notices. The language input received by students will well prepare them for an English proficiency test. They will also be familiarised with the format of the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC).
